Urban Republic – Fast expanding into the Home Kitchen industry, they are a dynamic company poised as the market leader in the supply of high quality plywood and acrylic panels for the recreational caravan industry. In their expansion journey, we have taken their brand design from conceptual stages all the way through to execution. Indeed their signage installation is a key part of their company branding process.
The processes we undertook to get there were carefully thought out. Options were carefully weighed. We chose to use a serious colour like navy to signify professionalism and quality while adding in a touch of energy and innovation with a modern and trendy lime green colour.
The initials “u” and “r” were integrated into their logo design as well. Gaps were intentionally left in the top part of the logo to reflect the customisable nature of their service and as a graphical representation of their product (panels).
So the next time you see Urban Republic’s logo, be it in the papers, on their signage or even on the web, take the time to analyse it, especially since you now know the processes it went through to come into creation.
